Measure everything in millimeters
Use a flexible tape measure. Measure the original belt, not the one mounted under tension.

Fold the strap in half
Flatten it by matching the two sides, like a flattened ring. Keep the folds taut.

Measurement = length from fold to fold
Read the distance in millimeters between the two folds of the flattened strap: this is the measurement to look for.

Section = belt profile
Look at the toothed side: count the lines and read the acronym (e.g. 5PJ, 6PJ, H, J, M, EL). It's the section.
