Measure everything in millimeters
Use a tape measure or caliper. Closest approximation: 348 is better than 350.

Keep the hook high
The hook (the release handle) is always at the top. The base is the horizontal side, the height is the vertical side.

Thickness is depth
Thickness is the depth of the metal frame, usually between 6 and 12 mm. It is the measurement that is most often wrong.
